Ingredients:
- 200 g polenta
- 800 ml water
- 100 g blue cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (e.g., rosemary or thyme) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Boil the water in a pot and add salt.
2. Gradually whisk in the polenta, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
3. Cook the polenta over low heat for about 20 minutes, until thick and soft.
4. Pour the polenta onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and smooth the surface.
5. Allow it to cool and set for about 30 minutes.
6. Cut the firm polenta into desired sizes.
7. Heat olive oil in a skillet and fry the polenta pieces until golden brown on both sides.
8. Crumble blue cheese over the fried polenta pieces.
