Ingredients:
- 800 g potatoes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
1. Peel and cut the potatoes into evenly sized cubes.
2. Boil the potato cubes in salted water for about 10 minutes, until slightly softened but not fully cooked.
3. Drain the potatoes and let them cool for a moment.
4. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
5. In a bowl, combine the potatoes with olive oil, cumin, salt, and black pepper, mixing until the potatoes are evenly coated.
6. Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
7. Roast the potatoes in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until they are crispy and golden brown, turning them halfway through the cooking time.
8. Serve immediately or take them along for a picnic and reheat if necessary on a grill.
