A delicious nutty meringue tart filled with sweet figs and creamy mascarpone mix. Perfect for special occasions!

Ingredients:

- 3 egg whites
- 180 g sugar
- 100 g nuts (e.g., walnuts or hazelnuts), crushed
- 200 g mascarpone cheese
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 6-8 fresh figs
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 120°C (250°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. Whip the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form. Gradually add the sugar while continuing to whip until the mixture is glossy and firm.
3. Gently fold the crushed nuts into the meringue.
4. Spread the meringue mixture evenly on the baking tray and shape it into a round tart.
5. Bake the tart for about 1 hour, until it is crisp on the outside. Allow it to cool completely.
6. Whip the heavy cream and vanilla sugar into soft peaks. Gently fold in the mascarpone.
7. Once the meringue tart has cooled, slice it in half. Fill the bottom layer with the mascarpone cream mixture and figs. Place the top layer back on and decorate with the remaining filling and figs.
8. Let the tart chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
