Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225 g) pasta of your choice
- 2 cups (150 g) sliced mushrooms
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- 1/2 cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown.
3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and bring to a gentle simmer.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
