Ingredients:
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until evenly coated with the sauce.
9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
