Ingredients:
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until they soften.
4. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the skillet with the tomato mixture. Add the chopped basil and season with salt and pepper.
5. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
