A delightful autumn treat that's perfect for a weekend sweet surprise. This apple pie is moist and flavorful, bringing warmth to chilly fall evenings. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 8 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 dl milk
- 3-4 apples
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 dl sugar (for sprinkling on the apples)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. Melt the butter and let it cool.
3. In a bowl, mix together the sugar and melted butter.
4. Add the all-purpose flour and baking powder, and mix well.
5. Pour the milk into the batter and stir until smooth.
6. Peel and slice the apples.
7. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
8. Arrange the apple slices on top of the batter.
9. Combine the cinnamon and sugar, and sprinkle the mixture over the apples.
10. Bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown.
11. Allow to cool before serving.
