A simple and delicious baked apple jam, perfect for pastries or breakfast tables! Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: About 4 jars
Ingredients:
- 1 kg apples
- 300 g sugar
- 1 dl water
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Peel and dice the apples into small cubes.
3. Place the apple cubes in a baking dish and add sugar, water, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
4. Mix the ingredients well.
5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and place it in the oven.
6. Bake for about 40-50 minutes or until the apples are soft.
7. Remove the dish from the oven and stir the jam gently. Optionally, you can puree the jam until smooth.
8. Allow to cool and transfer to clean, sterilized jars.
