Ingredients:
- 1 dl rice for porridge
- 5 dl milk
- 1 apple (diced)
- 2 tbsp sugar (or to taste)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- A pinch of salt
- Butter (if desired)
Instructions:
1. Rinse the rice under cold water.
2. In a saucepan, bring the milk to a boil and add the rinsed rice along with a pinch of salt.
3. Let the porridge simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes, until the rice is tender and the porridge is thick.
4. Stir in the diced apple, sugar, and cinnamon. Mix well and let it simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes.
5. Serve the porridge with a dollop of butter and enjoy warm.
