Ingredients:

- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup cream
- 1 vanilla bean
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 cinnamon plums (optional topping)

Instructions:

1. Rinse the rice in cold water using a strainer.
2. In a saucepan, combine the rice with the milk and cream.
3. Split the vanilla bean and scrape the seeds into the milk mixture. Add the whole bean to the saucepan as well.
4. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
5. Reduce the heat and let the pudding simmer gently for about 20 minutes, until the rice is cooked and the pudding has thickened.
