A delicious duck recipe that combines the flavors of beer and apple, creating a perfect dish best served hot or cold with a spicy sauce. Preparation Time: 2 hours

Ingredients:
- 1 duck (approx. 1.5 kg)- 2 apples (e.g. Antonovka)
- 2 onions
- 3 garlic cloves
- 500 ml beer
- 200 ml chicken stock
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme (or 1 tsp dried)
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp black pepper
- 2 bay leaves
Instructions:
1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the duck on all sides.2. Add chopped onions and garlic to the pan and sauté until softened.
3. Add apple wedges, honey, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
4. Pour the beer and chicken stock over the duck. Add bay leaves.
5. Cover and simmer on low heat for about 1.5 hours, until the duck is cooked and tender.
6. Serve the duck hot or allow it to cool and serve cold with a spicy sauce.
