Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (optional for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a bit of the cooking water.2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until golden brown.
3. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.
4. Pour the cream into the spinach and mix well. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted. Season with salt and black pepper.
6. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce. Add reserved cooking water as needed to achieve your desired consistency.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
