A delightful and easy Christmas pastry made with puff pastry and Nutella. Perfect dessert for the holiday table!Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 sheets of puff pastry- 100 ml Nutella
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets thinly.
3. Cut the pastry into a star shape, leaving a small circle in the center.
4. Spread Nutella evenly in the center of the pastry.
5. Place the second sheet of pastry on top.
6. Cut the edges of the pastry into strips towards the center, but do not cut all the way through.
7. Twist the strips away from the center to resemble branches of a tree.
8. Brush the top with beaten egg.
9. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until the tree is golden brown.
10. Allow to cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
