Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fusilli)
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 ml grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain the pasta and reserve a little cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add crushed garlic and sauté for about a minute.
3. Add fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until slightly wilted.
4. Pour the heavy cream over the spinach and mix well. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and stir. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little reserved cooking water.
6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and black pepper.
7. Serve immediately and garnish with fresh basil.
