Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 large bell peppers (red or yellow)- 200 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 150 g mozzarella cheese
- 100 ml tomato sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 50 ml fresh basil, chopped
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions and drain.
3. Cut the tops off the peppers and remove the seeds.
4. In a large bowl, mix the cooked pasta, crumbled mozzarella, tomato sauce, oregano, salt, black pepper, and basil.
5. Stuff the peppers with the pasta mixture and place them in a baking dish.
6. Drizzle olive oil over the stuffed peppers.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted.
8. Remove from the oven and serve warm.
