Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100 ml milk
- a pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and stir well.
4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Add the flour, baking powder, milk, and salt to the mixture. Stir until a smooth batter forms.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, you can dust it with powdered sugar or serve with whipped cream.
