Ingredients:
- 2 New York steaks (approx. 250 g each)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
Instructions:
1. Take the steaks out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. Season both sides of the steaks with salt and black pepper.
2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter.
3. Once the butter has melted and is frothy, add the crushed garlic and rosemary to the pan.
4. Place the steaks in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the desired doneness is reached. Flip the steaks once during cooking.
5. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest under foil for about 5 minutes before serving.
