Ingredients:
- 2 New York steaks (about 250 g each)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Take the steaks out of the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.
2. Season the steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides.
3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter.
4. Once the butter has melted and begins to foam, add the crushed garlic and herbs to the skillet.
5. Place the steaks in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness is achieved.
6. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
