A delicious and quick dish perfect for a family dinner. This rich sauce is often served with potatoes or pasta. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4
Ingredients:
- 400 g sausage
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 dl cream
- 2 dl crushed tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
2. Slice the sausage into pieces.
3. Heat the oil in a skillet and add the onions. Sauté until they are soft.
4. Add the garlic and sausage slices to the skillet. Cook until the sausage is nicely browned.
5. Pour the crushed tomatoes and cream into the skillet. Mix well.
6. Add mustard, soy sauce, salt, black pepper, and oregano. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
7. Serve the sausage sauce with boiled potatoes or pasta. Optionally, garnish the dish with fresh parsley.
