Ingredients:
- 200 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 100 ml cream
- 100 g grated cheese (e.g., cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion
- 1 garlic clove
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- Fresh herbs (e.g., basil or parsley) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a little pasta water.
2. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, cooking until soft.
4. Add cream, grated cheese, and the cooked pasta to the pan. Mix well.
5. Crack the egg into the pasta mixture and stir quickly until the egg cooks and binds the ingredients together. Add a little reserved pasta water if the mixture seems too dry.
6. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with fresh herbs on top.
