Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, stirring after each addition.
5. Sift the flour, vanilla sugar, and salt into the mixture. Gently fold until the batter is smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the cake is set but slightly moist in the center.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate sauce for decoration.
