Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 120 g all-purpose flour
- 50 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
2. Melt the butter and dark chocolate together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, stirring after each addition.
5. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, vanilla sugar, and salt, and gently mix until combined.
6. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes. The cake is done when the edges are set but the center is still slightly soft.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or serve with vanilla ice cream.
