Description: A classic French grilled ham and cheese sandwich that's crispy on the outside and melty on the inside.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Serving Size: 1 sandwich

Ingredients:

- 2 slices of bread
- Dijon mustard
- A little butter
- Sliced or grated cheese (Gruyère or Emmental)
- 1 slice of good ham

Instructions:

1. Spread a little butter on one side of each slice of bread and Dijon mustard on the other side.
2. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, on a plate.
3. Layer cheese on the bread, followed by the ham and more cheese.
4. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
5. Grill the sandwich in a sandwich press or a hot skillet until the cheese is melted and the bread is beautifully golden brown.
