Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- (Optional) ½ tsp nutmeg
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve a little cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until soft.
3. Add fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until completely wilted.
4. Pour the cream into the skillet and stir. Allow the mixture to simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined. Season with salt, pepper, and optional nutmeg.
6. Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of reserved cooking water.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
