Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fusilli) - 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml cooking cream
- 100 ml grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve a little pasta water. 2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add crushed garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
3. Add fresh spinach to the pan and cook until wilted.
4. Pour in the cooking cream and mix well. Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until the cheese has melted into the sauce.
5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well to coat the pasta evenly.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
