A delicious and chewy chocolate cookie recipe perfect for any occasion.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: Makes about 12 cookies
Ingredients:
- 125 g butter or margarine
- 1 dl granulated sugar
- 1 dl brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 0.5 dl cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
- Chocolate chips or nuts (optional)
Instructions:
1. Melt and let the butter or margarine cool down.
2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
3. In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt.
4. In another bowl, beat the melted butter with the sugars, then add the egg and mix well.
5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture and stir until a smooth dough forms.
6. If desired, fold in chocolate chips or nuts.
7. Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking tray and bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes.
8. Allow the cookies to cool before enjoying.
