A delicious winter cake combining mint and chocolate, beautifully decorated with chocolate snowflakes. Perfect for celebrations or special occasions!
Preparation Time: 1 hour + chilling
Serving Size: 10-12 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g mint chocolate
- 300 g cream
- 100 g cream cheese
- 50 g sugar
- 5 gelatin sheets
- 1 dl water
- 50 g dark chocolate (for decoration)
- 50 g white chocolate (for decoration)
Instructions:
1. Melt the mint chocolate in a water bath and let it cool slightly.
2. Whip the cream in a separate bowl until soft peaks form.
3. Add the cream cheese and sugar to the melted chocolate and mix well.
4. Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water for about 5 minutes, then dissolve them in hot water.
5. Quickly add the dissolved gelatin to the chocolate mixture and stir.
6. Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
7. Pour the mixture into a springform pan and let it set in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
8. For the chocolate decorations, melt the dark and white chocolate separately. Pipe the melted chocolate into molds and let them harden.
9. Remove the chocolate decorations from the molds and place them on top of the cake before serving.
