Mint Chocolate Mousse Cake

A delightful winter dessert featuring a rich mint chocolate mousse, topped with chocolate flakes. Preparation Time: 2 hours (plus 4 hours chilling)
Serving Size: 10 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g mint chocolate - 200 g dark chocolate
- 3 dl heavy cream
- 2 dl plain cream cheese
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 3 gelatin sheets
- 1 dl water
- Chocolate flakes for decoration
Instructions:
1. Crush the mint chocolate and dark chocolate into small pieces. 2. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan and add the chocolates. Stir until melted and the mixture is smooth.
3. Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water for about 5 minutes. Squeeze out excess water and melt the gelatin in a small amount of water if desired.
4. Add the melted gelatin to the chocolate mixture and mix well.
5. In a separate bowl, whip the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Combine with the chocolate mixture.
6. Pour the mixture into a mold and smooth the surface. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
7. Prepare the chocolate flakes by melting chocolate and piping it into molds. Allow to set and remove from molds.
8. Decorate the cake with chocolate flakes before serving.
