Ingredients:

- 200 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 dl milk
- 2 tsp mint extract
- 100 g dark chocolate (melted)
- A pinch of salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk.
5. Stir in the mint extract and melted chocolate until well combined.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 40-45 minutes, or until the cake is cooked through. Check doneness with a toothpick.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
