Ingredients:

- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or spaghetti)
- 400 g cherry tomatoes
- 200 g mozzarella cheese
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
2. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until golden brown.
3. Add the cherry tomatoes to the pan and cook until they start to soften and release their juices, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Cut the mozzarella into small pieces and add it to the pan with the tomatoes. Stir until the mozzarella melts.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix well. If needed, add a bit of reserved cooking water to moisten the pasta.
6. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with fresh basil on top.
