Ingredients:
- 2.5 dl spelt flour
- 1.5 dl sugar (or honey if preferred)
- 1 dl milk or plant-based milk
- 0.5 dl oil or melted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 0.5 tsp salt
- (Flavor option: 2 dl grated carrots, 100 g melted chocolate, or 100 g berries)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. In a large bowl, mix the spelt flour, sugar, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt.
3. Add the eggs, milk, and oil. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
4. Incorporate your chosen flavor ingredients (like carrots or chocolate) and mix well.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
6. Bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes or until the cake is cooked through (test with a toothpick).
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
