A flavorful Mexican-style pulled pork, perfect for tacos or burritos.
Preparation Time: 4 hours (simmering time)
Serving Size: 6-8 servings

Ingredients:

- 1 kg pork shoulder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp salt
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 dl chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 lime, juiced

Instructions:

1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Season the pork shoulder with salt, black pepper, paprika, cumin, oregano, chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
3. Sear the pork shoulder on all sides in the skillet until it is nicely browned.
4. Add the chicken or vegetable broth and lime juice to the skillet. Cover and simmer on low heat for about 4 hours, until the meat is tender and easily shredded.
5. Remove the meat from the skillet and shred it using two forks. Serve as a filling for tacos, burritos, or salads.
