Ingredients:
- 4 medium-sized potatoes - 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into strips or wedges.2. Soak the potato pieces in cold water for about 15 minutes to make them crispier.
3. Drain the potatoes and dry them thoroughly with a kitchen towel.
4. Place the potatoes in a bowl and add olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Toss well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
5. Spread the potatoes evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy. Flip the fries halfway through the cooking time.
7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a moment. Serve garnished with parsley if desired.
