Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth.
2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
3. Add the melted chocolate-butter mixture to the egg mixture and combine well.
4. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture and stir gently.
5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes, or until the surface is set.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. You can dust it with powdered sugar or top it with chocolate frosting if desired.
