Ingredients:

- 500 g fresh Brussels sprouts
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
- 50 g Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
- Fresh lemon, juice and zest (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
2. Wash the Brussels sprouts and trim the tough ends. Cut larger sprouts in half.
3. Place the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Add the crushed garlic, salt, black pepper, and chili powder. Toss well to ensure the sprouts are evenly coated.
4. Roast the Brussels sprouts in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, stirring once during cooking.
5. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice if desired.
