Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
3. Stir the sugar into the chocolate mixture until well combined.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture until fully incorporated.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes. Keep an eye on it to avoid overbaking.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. You can dust it with powdered sugar or top it with chocolate frosting if desired.
