Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 120 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave. Mix well until smooth.
3. Stir the sugar into the chocolate mixture until well combined.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the chocolate batter until just combined.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with chocolate frosting.
