A delicious and easy midsummer dish that requires minimal effort. This recipe is perfect for feeding a large crowd!

Ingredients:

- 3 kg malt pork (shoulder and front)
- 1 garlic clove
- A large piece of ginger
- 10 coriander seeds
- 10 white peppercorns
- 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 dl soy sauce
- 1 dl oyster sauce
- ½ dl ketjap manis sauce
- Water (enough to cover the meat)
For the Sauce:
- 5 dl braising liquid
- 4 star anise
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 dl palm sugar

Instructions:

1. Place the pork in a large pot.
2. Add the liquid ingredients to the pot and pour in enough water to cover the meat.
3. Boil the meat for 4-5 hours until it is tender and cooked through.
4. Remove the meat from the pot and wrap it in foil.
5. Strain the broth and pour it into another pot.
6. Add the sauce ingredients (star anise, cinnamon stick, and palm sugar) to the strained broth.
7. Simmer the sauce for about 15 minutes. Remove the star anise and cinnamon stick.
8. Shred the meat into a serving dish and pour the sauce over it.
9. Serve with boiled rice, cabbage salad, Italian salad, and tomato-onion salad.
