A delicious plum pudding made from traditional French glögi that brings the festive spirit early. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 6 dl dark Christmas glögi (diluted)
- 3 tbsp cane sugar
- 200 g dried plums
- 1 1/2 tbsp potato starch
- A splash of water
- Vanilla sugar (for whipping cream)
- 1 dl cream
- Low-fat quark (optional)
Instructions:
1. Dilute the glögi with water to taste.
2. Pour the glögi, dried plums, and sugar into a saucepan.
3. Heat the mixture and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Mash the plums with a whisk.
4. Mix the potato starch with cold water and pour it into the pudding mixture in a thin stream. Allow it to bubble a couple of times.
5. Pour the finished pudding into a shallow dish. Sprinkle sugar on top to prevent a skin from forming.
6. Flavor the cream with vanilla sugar and whip it until fluffy. You can add a bit of low-fat quark if desired.
7. Serve the pudding with whipped cream on top.
