Ingredients:
- 3 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 dl sugar
- 120 g softened butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp grated lemon zest
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 dl milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. In a bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, continuing to beat well.
4. Stir in the grated lemon zest.
5. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture alternating with the milk, mixing until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes, until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
8. Allow to cool before serving.
