A delightful and delicious cake perfect for the Christmas season, adorned with chocolate candies to bring festive cheer to your coffee table. Preparation Time: 1 hour + cooling
Serving Size: 12 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g butter - 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 50 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100 ml milk
- 200 g chocolate candies (for decoration)
- Powdered sugar (for decoration)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.2. Beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the batter, alternating with the milk. Mix until smooth.
4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool.
5. Decorate the cake with chocolate candies and sift powdered sugar over the top.
