A delicious salmon burger topped with creamy avocado and a hint of lime. Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 2 burgers
Ingredients:
- 2 salmon fillets
- 1 avocado
- 1 lime (juiced)
- 1 chili (finely chopped)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 hamburger buns
- Lettuce (e.g., iceberg or arugula)
- 1 tomato (sliced)
- Mayonnaise or yogurt sauce (optional)
Instructions:
1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
2. Grill or pan-fry the salmon fillets until cooked, about 4-5 minutes on each side.
3. Meanwhile, mash the avocado in a bowl and mix in lime juice and chopped chili.
4. Lightly toast the hamburger buns.
5. Assemble the burgers: place the bottom bun, followed by lettuce, salmon fillet, avocado mixture, and tomato slices.
6. Add mayonnaise or yogurt sauce if desired.
7. Top with the other bun and serve immediately.
