A creamy and delicious pasta dish, perfect for a weeknight dinner. Preparation time: about 30 minutes. Serves: 4.
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a little pasta water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
3. Add fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.
4. Pour in the cream and mix well. Let it simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
5. Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce and stir until melted.
6. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce. Mix well and add reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Serve immediately, topped with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
