Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225 g) spaghetti or fettuccine
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta evenly in the creamy sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
