Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 120 g all-purpose flour
- 50 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, stirring after each addition until fully combined.
5. Sift in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until a smooth batter forms.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, you can dust the cake with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate for decoration.
