A refreshing and delicious dip or side perfect for salads, grilled foods, or as a dip. Preparation time is just 10 minutes and serves about four people.Ingredients:
- 1 cucumber
- 1 cup plain yogurt (Bulgarian yogurt)
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of pepper
- For garnish: sumac
Instructions:
1. Rinse the cucumber and grate it coarsely. Squeeze out the excess moisture from the grated cucumber.
2. Peel and crush the garlic cloves.
3. In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, grated cucumber, crushed garlic, salt, and pepper.
4. Let the sauce chill in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes before serving.
5. Serve with a sprinkle of sumac on top for garnish.
