Ingredients:
- ½ cup large rolled oats
- 1 cup three-grain flour
- ¾ cup buttermilk
- ¾ cup rye flour
- 2 tablespoons syrup
- 1 tablespoon oil
- ⅓ cup water
- 2-3 small carrots, grated
- ⅓ packet yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a bowl, mix together the rolled oats, three-grain flour, rye flour, and salt.
3. Add the grated carrots, syrup, oil, water, and buttermilk to the dry ingredients. Mix well until combined.
4. Dissolve the yeast into the dough and knead until the dough is smooth.
5. Shape the dough into rolls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Bake the rolls in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until they are golden brown.
7. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them fresh!
