This delicious homemade ketchup is a perfect addition to many dishes. It's easy to make and tastes better than store-bought versions.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: Approximately 1 liter

Ingredients:

- 8 large ripe tomatoes
- 2 chili peppers
- 2 onions
- A few cloves of garlic
- 2 dl sugar
- 1 dl red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp oregano

Instructions:

1. Rinse the tomatoes and chop them into small pieces.
2. Peel and dice the onions and garlic cloves.
3. Remove the seeds from the chili peppers and chop them finely.
4. Place all ingredients into a saucepan and heat over medium heat.
5. Allow the mixture to simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes, until it thickens.
6. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking to the bottom.
7. Once the ketchup is ready, pour it into a clean glass jar and let it cool.
