recipe

Traditional cinnamon-spiced buns made with real butter and sugar. This recipe brings back childhood memories of delicious pastries baked by mom.
Preparation Time: 1.5 hours
Serving Size: Approximately 30 pieces
Ingredients:
- 150 g butter
- 5 dl milk
- 30 g yeast
- 2 tsp salt
- 8 tbsp sugar
- 800–900 g all-purpose flour
Filling:
- 3-4 tsp cinnamon
- 4-6 tbsp sugar
- 6 tbsp butter
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan and add the milk. Heat the mixture until it is lukewarm.
2. Pour the warm milk into a bowl and crumble the yeast into it. Stir until the yeast is dissolved.
3. Add half of the flour, sugar, and salt. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
4. Knead the dough until it is elastic. Cover with a cloth and let it rise for about 30 minutes.
5. Divide the dough into parts and roll one part into a thin rectangle. Spread softened butter, sugar, and cinnamon on top, leaving the edges empty.
6. Roll the dough tightly into a log. Cut it diagonally into triangular pieces.
7. Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Press the center down lightly.
8. Allow to rise for another 20-30 minutes.
9. Brush with egg and bake at 200°C (392°F) for about 15-20 minutes.
10. Let cool on a wire rack.
