Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate and butter mixture, and mix well.
4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture and stir until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the surface is set but the center is still slightly moist.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or serve with ice cream.
